Job Description

HumanHire is working with one of the largest insurance companies in New York, to help find an Office Assistant for their White Plains office. This company has been around for over 75 years and is recognized for proving "Best in Class" customer service! The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing support to the Customer Service Department!

  • Pay: $20-25/hr
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, sick time, & weekly pay!
  • Hours: M-F, 8 hour shift between the hours of 8am and 8pm (Some weekend flexibility required)

  • Answer incoming calls from insurance carriers
  • Open and distribute mail to the appropriate departments
  • Log incoming appeals into the tracking system & update claims system
  • Produce expense reports along with other departmental reports

  • 2 years of clerical experince and/or insurance experience
  • Experienced with Microsoft Word, Excel, & Access
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
