Job Description
HumanHire has partnered with one of the largest specialty healthcare providers in New York to help find a Medical Assistant for their Astoria office. This provider has 50+ locations throughout New York State & offers competitive pay with real growth guidelines!
What's in it for you?
- Location: Astoria, NY
- Pay: $23/hour plus benefits and weekly pay!
- Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:30AM to 5:00PM (1-2 Saturdays per month: 8:00AM - 12:00PM)
- Environment: Fast-paced & team-oriented
Responsibilities:
- Assists with maintaining patient flow to and from exam rooms and treatment areas
- Assists in escorting patients
- Obtain vital signs, weights and Electrocardiograms (EKG) when needed
- Assists physicians with procedures
- Ensure exam rooms and treatment areas are cleaned after each patient leaves and prepared for the next patient
Qualifications:
- *MUST BE VACCINATED* (booster not required)
- Experience with NextGen is a plus!
- Medical Assistant diploma/certificate or EMT Certificate OR Bachelors of Science/Arts in Biology OR 5 Year’s experience as a Medical Assistant
