Job Description
HumanHire is working with one of the largest medical centers in the Tri-State to add a Director of Revenue Cycle to their team. The Director of Revenue Cycle will lead a team of revenue cycle professionals to ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient processing of revenue cycle operations, including billing, coding, collections, reimbursement, and customer service.
- Pay: $150-170K base salary
- Schedule: M-F (8am – 4:30pm)
- Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Sick Time
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement revenue cycle strategies and goals to optimize revenue cycle performance.
- Lead and manage the revenue cycle team, including billing, coding, collections, reimbursement, and customer service.
- Ensure that all revenue cycle processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including clinical departments, finance, and senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and protocols related to the revenue cycle process.
- Provide training and support to revenue cycle staff to ensure their understanding of revenue cycle processes and goals.
- Monitor revenue cycle performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage the revenue cycle budget and ensure that resources are allocated effectively.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and forecasting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in revenue cycle management.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) systems.
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting
