Job Description

HumanHire is partnered with one of the world's top law firms to find a Business Development Manager for their NYC office! With more than 400 Attorney's, the firm operates around the world and partners primarily with Fortune 500 organizations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue by developing and implementing business development strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building and maintaining client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business development strategies in collaboration with the firm's partners and practice groups to identify and pursue new business opportunities, achieve revenue growth targets, and increase market share.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activity to inform business development strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by engaging with clients, identifying their needs, and providing solutions to their legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective marketing campaigns, including events, conferences, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients to showcase the firm's expertise and capabilities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of business development activities and results to the firm's management team.
  • Manage the firm's CRM system and ensure accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and opportunities.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A law degree or legal background is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in a professional services environment, preferably in the legal industry.
  • Strong understanding of business development principles and practices, including market analysis, strategic planning, and client relationship management.
