Job Description
We're working with one of the leading logistics companies on Long Island to add an Accounts Payable Clerk to their office in Valley Stream! This company has been around for over 70 years & works with name-brand clients such as DKNY, Vera Wang, & Armitron!
We offer:
- $55,000-$60,000 per year (plus full medical, health, dental benefits, 401K match, 2 weeks vacation, & paid holidays!)
- Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM

What you'll be doing:
- 3-way matching of invoices & PO's
- Coding all payable invoices & posting journal entries to the GL in Cargowise
- Work with vendors to fulfill various inquiries (partial payments, refunds, etc.)
- Assisting in month-end close processes & reconciling AP reports to the GL
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of prior AP experience within logistics preferred
- Associates degree in Accounting strongly preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Outlook)
- Prior experience with Cargowise preferred but not required
